Imposter? Nah. Artistic Interpretation.

Let’s play…

What’s different about these two Pictures…

If you said “NOTHING” then, nice ta meetcha Einstein!  Yur a total genius!
So, now my dear Einstein, what’s different about these two pictures…

IMAG0816 (1)

For starters, one is lovely, elegant and a timeless classic. The other is a crazy, polka-dotted, curly-cue, apple green IMPOSTER…who’s momma needs a new camera…Yo, Santa?  Didja here that?

Yes. I knocked off Kelli from the Turquoise Piano’s Christmas Wreath.

Oh, I do so try to be original.  So let’s say, I didn’t copy it. Let’s say my crazy wreath is an “artistic interpretation” of Kelli’s…

Yes, that’s better.  Now I can sleep at night…

Here she is from her crazy left side…

Frame Wreath Polka dot ribbon

And from her equally crazy right…

Frame Wreath Polka Dot Bow

And here’s a close-up of her curly-cues…these were stolen left over from that crazy Tree Topper…

Frame Wreath Polka Dot Bow

BTW, that stupid Christmas Tree KEEPS fallin down, and that formerly Non-Wonky Bow is now officially WONKY…

And that Tree’s granny panties are saggin…

and by that I mean her white lights are all droopy and hangin’ down around her wooden leg…Ain’t got time ta go take a picture…I got ties ta make and mail TODAY!!! Use yur imagination…

The End.

Until next time……

Oh, and be a SUPER COOL Kid and Comment.  How else am I gonna know you were up in da’ howse?

P.S.  Just so you know, that wreath kept knock-knockin’ on the door every time the wind blew, and it was drivin’ my Monster hound up the proverbial wall…so I had ta hot glue it to the door before Morgan got home, cuz it would’ve driven him up the wall with the dog…

*Linkin up if the Christmas fever doesn’t get too bad…
but, to quote the Eight ball…chances look slim…

i love when you take an idea and run with it and make it your own. that's the best way to do it- i am not a fan of copying straight up, yo.
and how on earth did you get a pic of me with my panties????

  2. Janel@hatingmartha says:

So now if I came to your door and saw your crazy polka dot bow I would think…"I should probably run away", but because I love crazy and fun I would gladly knock and join you for some tea (spiked of course). It really does look sweet and fun!

  3. Kelli @ The Turquoise Piano says:

I seriously LOVE it! Gwen, you rock! Merry Christmas!

  4. Christine Schram says:

I like it's non-traditionalness – new word. :) I love polka dots – so how couldn't it be cool. The "hot-glued it to the door" thing made me gasp! Brian would explode if I did that! LOL Actually, we just got a very expensive new front door(they are crazy expensive) because the old one had issues (and he wouldn't have wanted me to that to the OLD one) and I do not have a wreath at all this year. He thought the foam lined over-door wreath hanger would scratch it. :( So my homemade wreath that has adorned my door for about 12 years is hanging on the garage door where we come and nobody but us can see it. :(

I love that you hot glued it to the door! Good to know I'm not the only one who does crazy ish like that.

Love the wreath, especially the colors. Brightened my day.

That last pic give a whole new definition to granny-panties :)
