Step 1. Buy some gorgeoso hooks from this seller on Ebay…
Step 2. Get a piece of Poplar…1×8, cut to the desired size, and sand the bleebity-blop outta it.
Step3. Paint the base color.
Step 4. With a contrasting color, make random swirly thingies all over. Don’t let fear hold you back, just GO FO’ IT! Yes, free-hand…
Step 5. Seal.
Step 6. Screw on the hooks.
Step 7. Attach some keyhole hangers on the back.
Step 8. Try to sell it on Ebay.
Step 9. DENIED
Step 10. Hang it up in your bright, Pear Green Foyer and be glad nobody else liked it.
Step 11. Smile and link it up all over the internet so you can meet coolio people and make loads of new friends!

So pretty! And such a coincidence! I just cut pieces of wood for the same exact project for my daughter. And the hooks are nearly identical but different but the same so you'll be seeing this project on my blog in a few weeks (once she gets busy on the rest of the foyer)!

I always wonder how some make it on Ebay, but you could try Etsy. I'm not that familiar with how they work, but I think it might be better than Ebay. I could totally see this on Etsy – at least until it sold ;^) cuz I think it's just that cute!
