It’s dark and hot and I am sitting here listening to a story about dinosaurs. I have read it aloud so many times but there is something so sweet hearing a little seven year old voice tell it to me..
We have been taken back in time with this storm and though I miss the modern comforts, it’s nice to slow down a bit.
As soon as life and the lights return, I will be back with you and announce the winner of the Plaid paint giveaway.

Lights are out On Sutton Place…we are at my father-in-law’s until our power is restored. We were told yesterday it could be 2 – 5 days. Glad you are all safe. We were lucky too. No major damage.
