My broken heart…I mean chair.

I found this chair.

Kelly's Chair

in my mod-lovin’ dreams…

But in reality,

This is my chair.

Broken chair

Painful, I know…

Don’t let a hunka-hunka burnin’ love sit in that puppy, Kelly

If this were to happen, It’d break your freakin’ heart.

Chair Taped

In his defense, it was already cracked.  Just one of the minor things I didn’t notice in my utter bleepin’ excitement over finding this lovely specimen.

Do you think anyone would notice if I just left that tape there?

Or do I really have to haul out the drill and wood glue?

Really?

P.S.  My Blue Front Door is being features over at The Power of Paint!  Hop over and say ‘Hiya!”

Today just might be the day.
But, you’ll never know if you don’t get out there and

Thank you for reading my blog.
Now, let’s hook up, yo.

And so the BOLD ones say...

Oh, Okay, *sigh*, I’ll agree with Janel. I was going for the “fabric, draped artfully across the back and seat to cover the blue thread and blue tape with a lightweight wicker basket and hydrangea DISPLAY ONLY chair” thing….but, what-evah. I suppose that it IS, afterall, an excuse to use power tools. So, as folks on oil rigs say, (at least when I imagine that sort of thing…which, admittedly, is NOT often), “Commence the drilling!” Carry on.xo

You could always just wrap lots and lots and LOTS more fabric around it all to hold it in place and create a unique look…..

Good to know that I can’t let any hunks of burning love sit in that chair! And of course, hunks of burning love are constantly coming over – so it’s gonna be tough!

Dim the lights – nobody will notice the tape!

Love your chair – maybe we should get yours and mine together for a playmate!
