Hot Shot, my Subject

Generally, I prefer my horses well mannered and sedate…

Horse print

So, unfortunately, these playful horses were just too much for my calm, even-keeled personality…

Thank you, dear 1970’s.  You were oh, so very important in my life…

Playful Horses Pring

But, time passes and we must needs move on…

With some color, please…

Stenciling the Backboard2

I just kept thinking how much I love Hardees while I was painting this…

Have you tried their Chicken Tenders?

OH. MY. GOODNESS.

And what about that new Memphis BBQ Burger.

That, my bleeps…sigh.  I have no words.

But I have the ever widening hips to prove just how amazing it is…

But that is totally off the subject.  Major.

I’m trying to talk to you about Art.

Stenciling the backboard

Art is subjective.

And my subject {hehehe}, however much I complain…

Hot Shot Pencil Sketch Up Close

Is loved.

{But don’t tell Morgan I said that.  I wouldn’t want him to think I’d like to start taking this monster for walks…}

My challenge to you… Pick up a pencil.

And see what flows out.  Just for fun, eh?

And so the BOLD ones say...

      Thank you, crazy girl!

I TRY to sketch! I took one art class in high school, and I sooo wish I had kept on that trajectory… Never too late, I guess!

Oh Gwenn, you are so talented. Believe me if I pick up a pencil, it would not be pretty on paper. I can barely draw a stick man.

Great drawing, Gwennie, and great idea for the mat.
My abilities in this area would require depositing my sketch into another receptacle in the POTTY room. My dad is an artist and architect and I cannot draw a thing. ;(
    So sad.

Thank you, Tina! Oh, how awesome your dad is an artist and an architect! I wanted to go to architecture school, but it never happened… and that’s ok. I’m happy!

I can’t even make stick people good, but I’ll meet ‘ya at Hardee’s for some tenders and you can teach me how to draw.
