I’ve never been one for making New Year’s Resolutions…
In fact, I think they’re for the birds…
the flamingos that have long necks and long feet and are pink as Pepto-Bismol…
Or maybe, Ostriches…
because they jUST. dON’T. fLY.
Come February, they look you in the face, stick out their tongue and raspberry spit all over you… And who needs that?
Not me, I tell ya.
So this year, I’m looking at life from a different point of view…
This year, I’m taking stock…
.I’m looking at last year and seeing what worked. Then I’ll keep doing that.
And then, I’m seeing what didn’t go so flamin’ hot…
and figuring, I’ll give that slice some attention and try to whip it into shape….and good.
And then, there’s the trash…
you know…that bottom 15% of junk that isn’t worth saving to begin with?
That mess is gone, daddy, gone…
So, you’re curious, aren’t you? Well, this Bold Girl is made of mystery, so you’ll just have to watch and try to see if you can Matlock it out…
So, forget those dumb resolutions… start taking stock of the 2012 that’s history and put your life into these three categories.
And if it’s in the bottom, DUMP the TRASH. Like now… so you can try something new.
That’s the fun part of life…if you’re BOLD.
And you are, right?
Don’t you know, I’m doing it right now. Something new, that is…

I won’t raspberry you if you get it wrong.

Great advice. I don’t make resolutions either. To me it’s like setting yourself up for failure. I am curious what you have up your sleeve too!
