How to Be Bold in your Dreams

Have you figured out how to be bold?

If you’re like me, you often wonder how to over overcome fear.

It’s a process, right?  And it takes the realization that life, indeed, is short.

But, let’s just take a second to pause and live in a dream world.

What if there were no risk?  It would be easy to figure out  how to Be Bold, right?

How to Be Bold

So, in your fantasy, where you have no fear and you know exactly how to be bold…what would you do if you knew that there was absolutely no way you could fail?

If you knew that no one would get hurt and there was nothing to lose? Leave me a note down in the comments there, because I’m dying to know!

And so the BOLD ones say...

Girl…now I have to think. Really think.
    ???
Take up Karate. Be a black belt.
And a kick a** bass player.
    And travel the world.
And not be scared of creepy alleys in the world that I travel because I am a black belt.

Truthfully. I’m kind of living the life I want. How awesome is that :) .

Haha! Me, too. I’m finally living the life of my dreams.. Yes, I want to travel and all that, and I do hope that will come soon, but as far as life goes? I couldn’t be any happier..

Oh man, I don’t even know what I’d do! I’m throwing around the idea of quitting my day job and blogging full time, but we are pretty much dependent on my salary right now, so that’s a bit scary. I’d probably do that, jump into blogging with both feet if I could!

I have two dreams that seem to go in opposite directions:

I would move to Nashville in a country heartbeat to be able to sing for a living. Or move anywhere else, for that matter. The singing is the dream. Singing and making enough money to live and praising the Lord, too. =)

Second, I have this crazy feeling that I will someday be a houseparent in an orphanage or children’s home or something like that. Preferably where they speak English, thank you very much.

Thanks for asking, sweet Gwen! Now, what’s your dream… everybody’s got a dream!

I would go in on that second space at the barn with Cassie and worry about how to fill it and pay for it later!

I would quit my job, move out of the city to a big old farmhouse in the country that needs a whole lot of work… wait a second… I did that! Living the dream! Sometimes I forget how lucky am I, but I really really am. So I would do just exactly this… only bigger! Bolder! More! Better! Thanks for the push to keep going! :)

I’d move to a perfect little country house and have a bunch of dogs and some cute little baby donkeys. I’d have a little shop and sell my wares and every afternoon I’d ride my bike to the farmer’s market to get fresh things for dinner. Then I’d sit out on my veranda and enjoy the evening until my hubby said it was time for him to give me my foot rub.
Somebody slap me! I’m dreaming now…the foot rub ain’t happening. LOL

I’ve been on an adventure to live more boldly and with passion! My dream that I’m working on right now…have a space for women to gather, decorate it really homey and comfortable, shabby chic-vintage-rustic-upcycle-ish, and have Passionista Playdates in my Party House!! I’d like to have all kinds of workshops, craft, financial information, women’s health info and issues, how-tos, cooking, anything and everything that will interest women and bring them together for a good, fun time. Not any of that around here.
I love your “be bold” life! And your HOT office room. Spent a while on the Sherwin Williams paint site looking at colors in that family for my office. Because, I am a Passionista and I like it BOLD!
It’s fun to find you, and yes, I’ve signed up.
