Creativity Unleashed Week 16

Hi, my BOLD peeps!

I found myself with an interesting week and I want to spill a bit before we get to the party, if you don’t mind.

Last Friday, I was feeling as good as a little girly ten year old in the Barbie section of Target…with a Black American Express Card in her dainty little fingers.  It was awesomeness cubed.

Then, I woke up Saturday with massive pain in my neck and lower back of my head.  Long story short, the chiro-cracker, x-rayed me and said I had a severe whiplash injury.

And no, it wasn’t from whippin’ my hair back and forth…though I’ve been known to do that.

It was a delayed reaction from The Breakthrough Fall…as I’m now calling it. Seriously, I’m starting to view that night as the best thing that has ever happened to me in the history of my Gwen-ness.

But who knew whiplash injuries could take their time.  Maybe they get a little shy or are horribly insecure or something.  Whatevs.

But after reading The Big Leap last week prior to the sneaking up of the Whiplash injury, I have this sense of complete peace, love and joy in my life.

So, as this story grows like a fourth of July snake firecracker…sorry…

I found myself HAPPY, nay JOYFUL in spite of the extreme pain.

That’s a miracle, folks.

I listened to this song and this song over and over and over again.  I almost know all the words and am convinced that both Pharrel and Jason need me to sing harmony with them.

Joy, people.  It’s what’s for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  If you’d like to talk to me more about this, drop me a line and I’d love to share my thoughts. Or better yet, read The Big Leap…then email me.

Ok. that’s enough of that and on to the Party!

Here’s a super-happy Friday to my co-hosts:

Now, Let’s get Jiggy wid it!

What the BOLD ones say:

    • says

Thank you, friend. Me, too… more than I can say!

I had a friend tell me that she knew someone who fell exactly like I did and is now paralyzed from the neck down.

That made me even more thankful!

  1. says

When selecting memorabilia or general purpose utility items as gifts, avoid items such as perfume and
religious or superstitious items. What you choose to give as corporate
gifts will depend on who you’re giving them to and your industry (average life time value of
a client not what’s customary in your industry; don’t copy your
competitors, it’s rarely a good idea). If you regularly do business with multiple people within a department, trying to come up with multiple gift ideas can be downright perplexing.
