You never know where life is going to take you.
After years of searching, I’ve finally discovered the meaning of life.
Well… OK. Maybe not the actual meaning of life, but I’ve grown to a place where I can be who I am with all that I have.
Because, you see, when you stop fretting and let go of the fears that hold you down… then LIFE really begins.
But it requires a new way of thinking.
When we claim we don’t have time, when we look at out budgets and cringe, when we see our failures and they define us, we get stuck in the routine of our everyday lives, and we think to ourselves that we just CAN’T.
But we don’t have to be a slave to our fears and doubts and past. We can rise up against the noise, creating a revolution in our hearts and minds and tell ourselves that we CAN.
The Secret in three steps:
- Listen to your thoughts and be aware of what you are telling yourself
- Become a Life-long Learner and develop a thirst for knowledge
- Embrace an attitude of bravery and consider failure a part of the learning process, using it as a step towards success
And I promise you…
With a commitment towards a new way of thinking and seeing ourselves, we can find it. Banning the word “can’t”, becoming life-long learners and declaring failure a part of the process puts anything we desire within our reach. . .
And when that happens, the journey towards a life of empowerment and joy will begin!
Fortunately, I’m not alone on this journey…

Stumbled upon your site this morning and read your insights AT THE EXACT MOMENT I needed to hear them. Thank you!
Gwen,
I love the photos of the family — especially Hotshot and Cookie! One other great function of The Bold Abode is “delightful procrastinating” — what I do as I pop in and out of my writing projects online.
Blessings,
Terri
