Hoppy Easter Bunny Printable and Door Hanging

I’m so happy that it’s finally Spring! Yay! And to celebrate the season, I’ve created this free Hoppy Easter Bunny Printable which I used to make a simple Easter door hanging!
When I put this printable together, I didn’t just want to frame it like I do with my other printables. I wanted to make something cute and simple for the front door.
How to Make a Door Hanging using my free Hoppy Easter Bunny Printable
What you need:
- Free Bunny Printable
- Egg Cut Out Image
- White Cardstock – letter size
- Pastel Cardstock – 12×12
- Wooden Slats
- Hemp String
- Glue GunÂ
Instructions:
First, print out your bunny printable and cut the egg shape from your pastel card stock.
Glue your bunny printable to the middle of your egg cut out.
White wash your wood slats if you’d like. I just took a damp paper towel and rubbed white paint on as if I were staining the wood.
Let that dry, then drill a small hole at each end of the slat… about 1/2 in.
Next glue your wood slats to the sign, one at the top and one at the bottom. Then thread your hemp string through the top. Just punch a hole through the paper with a pencil first.
Tie knots so your string will hold.
And you’re done!
Hang it on the wall or your door or wherever you want to add some hoppy Easter fun to!
