Do you remember that moment when you first saw the love of your life? Or maybe your dog… or your kitten?
Um. Yeahz. That’s what tasting this Sugar Free Butterbeer Steamed Milk was like.
It was all bells ringing and choirs singing songs of joyful celebration… Starbucks, get yur expensive self back to the rear of the line.
But first, I have to bend the knee in adoration to Jessi from Practically Functional and her Harry Potter Inspired Butterbeer Latte Recipe., without which there would be no Sugar Free Butterbeer Steamed Milk.
[insert moment of silence]
The Ingredients
You’ll need:
1 cup milk {i used Soy because Milk makes me sneezy}
1TBS butter
1TBS Stevia in the Raw
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
How to make the Sugar Free Butterbeer Steamed Milk
First, melt your butter in a saucepan on low-ish heat. Then stir in the stevia until dissolved. Let the mixture heat up, but watch it so it doesn’t burn. It will get sticky like caramel, but it won’t turn brown and creamy.
Meanwhile, heat milk in a glass container for 1 minute in the microwave. Then pour the milk into the saucepan and add vanilla and cinnamon.
Heat until almost boiling. When you see bubbles forming on top and around the sides of the pan, pull it off.
How to froth the steamed milk
Froth it up in your blender. I use one of my single serving fellas from my Ninja.
I love this thing:
