When you are inspired, what do you feel like?
I mean, does it wash over you in pounding waves of excited anticipation of what might be possible or does it sneak up on you and take shape over time, like finely distilled moonshine?
Well, I’m not sure how to describe this, but when I saw this tutorial for re-usable Washi Tape from Tried and True, my thoughts went wild with delicious promises…
And dear Bold Ones, this craft is quick and easy and fun.
I like that in a craft, don’t you?
Washi Tape Instagram Frames
supplies
- Dollar Frames from Michaels
- Some cool Scrapbook Paper
- DecouPage from Deco Art
- Washi Tape
- Printed Instagram Photographs
I didn’t make my own re-usable Washi-Tape.
I was lazy.
I bought mine.
Step 1.
Cover your frames using your awesome Scrapbook Paper and Decoupage. Just trace the frame, cut it out, apply the Decou-page and place it over the frame.
{an evil gnome snuck in through the open garage one night and deleted all the photographs of this step while I was sleeping.
But, rest-assured, I put a ring of pansey dust around the house to keep them out from now on… take that evil gnomes!}
I wanted a plain paper look, so I just used the Decoupage underneath the paper.
If you want, you can seal it on top as well.
Step 2.
Print your photos and arrange them on the top of the frame..
Get some really cute help if you can.
It’s more fun that way, yo.
Step 3.
Use the Washi Tape and tape on photos at a fun and amusing angle.
Step 4.
Force your cutie-cute helper to pose with his creation.
That’s it!
Now, if I can find 15 minutes to get them hung, I’ll call myself a RockStar.
So, if you’re new, just subscribe via email or google+ or bloglovin’ for when I get around to hangin’ them!
A mighty Bold thanks to Angie at the Country Chic Cottage and Carolina from 30 minute Crafts for including this quick craft in their Craft Lightning Series!
