Hey, my bold ones!  I’m back to show you my DIY Glittery Monogram White and Gold Wreath.  This year is all about the sparkly goodness of Gold, if you haven’t noticed.

DIY Glittery Monogram White and Gold Wreath: Simple but WOW! A beautiful wreath to help celebrate Christmas!

I found these amazing shards of gold and silver tissue paper confetti at the craft store this year, and now, they are all over my studio! I really don’t mind one bit. Except for the fact that they stick to my feet and my pants and my face.  I’m a walking glitter confetti bomb!

It’s worth it.  Soooo worth it!

Enough talk of sparkles.  Let’s make this wreath!

What you need to make this DIY Glittery Monogram White and Gold Wreath:

  1. Letter for your wreath: I found this letter that is made specifically for wreath making at Michaels.  Score.
  2. Plain white wreath
  3. Gold Ribbon
  4. Decoupage
  5. Wire

First, apply a thick coat of Decoupage on your letter.

Then douse it in the confetti.

While the letter dries, fluff your wreath.

Once the glue is dry on your letter, flip both the wreath and letter over and attach to the back of your wreath form with a little bit of wire.

Turn your letter over and thread your ribbon around the wreath.  Twist is a little as you go and use the stems of the wreath to hold it in place. (or, if you are really meticulous, you can use some wire.)

Fan of the lazy, I am.

Yesterday, I showed you how to make this double loop bow. So check here if you need instruction.

Attach your bow to the top of the wreath using a bit of wire.

Then hang!  I have a permanent hanger on my door, but a command strip works great.  I’m using them all over the house this year for lights and whatnot.

Now to hang!
