When I go into a fabric store, time completely suspends. Feel familiar?
I can go in looking for white thread and spend 4 hours browsing through the fabric, hand caressing the bolts as I walk through the aisles.
And last year, when I stumbled upon Spoonflower where you can design your own fabric, my heart skipped a beat!
So, here I am today sharing my first ever line of fabric.
I give you…
Bold Gold Fabric
This collection currently has 5 designs with more on the way.
Bold Gold Chevron
Bold Gold Chevron-large
Bold Gold Broken Chevron
Bold Gold Cube-Orama
Bold Gold Bubbles
Each pattern is available in several different kinds of fabric. You get to choose which so you know you’re getting exactly the right weight and weave for your project!
And watch out… Spoonflower may be online, but it’s just as addictive as any fabric store I’ve ever been to.
I bought the removable wallpaper that I used on my stairs from Spoonflower. Yeah. Trouble, I say.
And if you decide purchase and make something with it, please send me a photo!!!
Let me know down below in the comments which pattern you like best!
oooh i love that cube! awesome design!
Thank you! That’s my fav, too!
I love these patterns! I’m new to fabric, so I don’t know, but I’m looking to upholster my own ottoman and headboard, and this would go perfectly with my black, white, and gold color scheme. Is there a type of fabric that this comes in that would be good for upholstering?
Hi Alyssa! Check out the link to the types of fabric Spoonflower offers: https://www.spoonflower.com/spoonflower_fabrics
I’m sure you can find the right fabric for your ottoman. And go you!
If you end up using one of my designs, I’d love a photo!!!
Okay, thanks! I think I’m going to order a couple sample and compare them to a couple swatches I already have. I will let you know if I end up using it!
