Hey guys! Are you getting it all done, yet? Christmas is alllllmost here! I was out buying gift cards the other day and wanted to pick up some boxes to wrap them in rather than just stick them in a card or something.
But, I was like… ARE YOU KIDDING ME? $5 for a tiny box? No-freaking-way. Never happenin’.
So, let’s make our own, shall we?

These little pillow boxes are very quick and easy to make! Here’s what you need:
- Pretty cardstock
- Tape or glue
Grab this template and print it out:
How to Make Your Own Gift Card Pillow Box
Trace your box onto some really sparkly cardstock. I used some gold foil patterns from a big book of paper that I found on big-time sale at Michaels. This paper from Amazon would work great!
I actually used my Cricut to cut mine out. If you don’t have a cutting machine, I love my Cricut! You can get one on Amazon here.
Once you cut out your box, just fold it on the dotted lines. This is why I love my Cricut. You can set it to score the dotted lines for you so they are easier to fold.
Uh-mazing.
You can glue the box together, or use some washi tape to seal it.
Then just fold the edges over and pop your gift inside!
I felt like it needed a little something else, so I added one of the Mini Super Cute Bows I shared yesterday. Go grab that mini bow template while you are thinking about it!
Too cute for words. And home-made-easy.
Are you all finished wrapping? I’m pretty much done…Yay!
