Remember those sweet, carefree days of Kindergarten?
Where you were forced to take naps, play games, do puzzles and make stuff?
Sigh.
Well, maybe I’m regressing, or perhaps, never grew up… but I still love those same things. {except the puzzles… not a puzzle fan, yo.}
And today’s project, is strongly reminiscent of those days before bills and meetings and dishes!
Oh, the dishes!!!
So, making this craft gave me a few precious moments to escape back in time and feel like a kid again… which I LOVE.
And I just LOVE being a part of this fun series, Craft Lightening sponsored by Angie from The Country Chic Cottage and Carolina from 30 minute Crafts!
And to make this fun craft, you only need a few minutes and a few supplies:
Super Easy Washi Tape Popsicle Frames
supplies
Large Popsicle Sticks
Clothes Pins
Washi Tape
Hot Glue
Pop Tab
Step 1
Lay out a line of Popsicle Sticks. You need to make it longer than wider so you can glue on that cutie-cute cloths pin later!
Tip: Use a book or something to help line up
the sticks so they are actually straight.
Step 2
Glue three Popsicle Sticks vertically on what will be the back of the frame.
Stagger the sticks like the picture above, so you make sure to brace all the vertical sticks.
Step 3
Add a strip of tape to one side of your clothes pin.
On the edges, fold over just a tad at an angle and then wrap the end down onto your clothes pin.
Fold over the edges on the long sides.
Step 4
Hot Glue the super-cute clothes pin to the front of the frame… at the top…with the edge hangin’ off a bit.}
Step 5
Grab a Pop-Top Tab {or some twine} and hot glue on the back for hanging.
Step 6
Clip your photo to the front.
Here is our little family right before we left to spend a year in Switzerland.
{Short Hair… you were so easy! I miss you sometimes…}
Isn’t that little guys so flippin’ cute?
Step 7
Hang ‘er up, baby!
Now that is definitely a Craft of Lightening… Supah fast, baby!
I love clothespins, and Washi Tape makes them too cool for school, doesn’t it?
Thanks again to Angie from The Country Chic Cottage and Carolina from 30 minute Crafts! Yall are da Shiz!
