The nights were warm when the chur-chur-churning of the ice cream maker filled the air.

It was heaven.

Particularly when my dad slowly pulled out the paddle, white streams of sweet sugary temptation dripping on his arms, the down onto the counters and landing in tiny puddles on the kitchen floor.

Now? Rather than waiting for warm summer nights with lightning bugs twinkling and stars blinking… we just have it for breakfast.

  • 4 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup raspberries - fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup all natural peanut butter
  • 2-2 1/2 cup milk
  • 1tsp vanilla


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
  2. Add as much milk as you need to reach a smooth and creamy consistency.
  3. Pour into 4 glasses and enjoy!
