Inside: How to create a delicious and fall themed Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board!

One of the best things to have for a crowd, or even just you and your special someone, is a Charcuterie Board!

I love putting one together for Morgan and I to enjoy for a night at home. I’ll usually make some homemade bread and we’ll have a nice bottle of vino to go along with it.

But what should you put on a thanksgiving charcuterie board?

Well, I have a long list of ideas, including some fall treats that you’d probably only put out for turkey day! (and maybe Christmas)

The first place to start is with a good cutting board! Each of the ones below are great options. If you want to have a large table of Charcuterie, why not buy all three and spread them out full of goodies!

What even is a CHARCUTERIE Board…really?

The term “charcuterie” originates from the French word for a butcher shop or delicatessen that specializes in preparing and selling these types of preserved and cured meats.

A charcuterie board, sometimes just called as a charcuterie platter, is a beautiful, appealing and yummy arrangement of various cured and preserved meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, condiments, and other accompaniments like perhaps seasonal fruit, veggies and sweets.

What do you need to make a good Charcuterie Board?

First and foremost, you need to have one or more nice cutting boards. I’ve linked to some great ones you can find on Amazon. If you buy a kit, you’ll get some cheese knives and other utensils.
