Oh, Valentine Mantel, where have you been all my life? {especially the coffee filter part!}

And snow is on the ground. Finally!
I know some of you bold ones farther south have had your fair share, but up here in the Commonwealth, we’ve been just a bit deprived!
But today, it’s coming down and I LOVERS it!
So, I was going to chat with you about how I met Morgan and how he proposed to me on one knee and how I was in my bathrobe and still had a towel on my head…
But since I’m distracted by the snow coming down outside my newly updated office windows… {eek! I can’t wait to show you my office!} Unless of course you follow me on Instagram and then you might have seen the sneakity-peakity.
I am, however, going to take you on a tour of my very-first-ever-in-my-whole-entire-lifetime Valentine Mantel, yoz.
Wait a sec while I look out the window and sip my new favorite tea…

Ok. Now we can go ahead.
First I made this sweet little Fun Hearts Garland! {you can visit that link and grab the free Fun Hearts Printable!}
It was super easy to put together.
Then I made this awesome Coffee Filter Wreath. I showed you:
and How to make the coffee filter flowers
and, finally How to make the Easiest, Cheapest Heart Wreath Form on the planet!
Then I put together these fun Chalkboard Canvases and used the Chalk Transfer Method to write L O V E on them.
I Lovers them…
You can see how I made these and the Chalk Transfer technique by visiting:
I hung the wreath on top of my Giant W where I showed you:
How to Create a White Textured Pattern Using Only Paint!
I added some of my favorite black and white pictures below the W. These were taken right before we leaped the pond and spent a year in Switzerland.
Now, talk about snow… beautiful to see it cover the Alps out your back window!
So, how did I do for my very first time with a Valentine Mantle? I know I could use some candles in those holders, but oh wellz.
Are you ready for Valentines Day? {I am…not!}
Pin me for later, says the Valentine Mantel…
