Coffee makes me want to gag.

There.  I said it.

I love the smell, but the bitter taste leaves me wondering why anyone would willingly drink a scalding hot cup of black joe.

To each his own.  Be you.  The End.

But for me?

My favorite, favorite, favorite, favorite {is that too many?} hot drink is…

This Thick and Creamy Vanilla Steamed Milk is so amazing and a great alternative for us non-coffee lovers out there!

Holy Mother of Cows!!!

I would totally moooory this drink if I could. And it’s easier than counting to ten on your ten fingers, yo.

Here’s how to make Vanilla Steamed Milk:

All you need is 1 1/2 Cups of the milk of your choice and 1 1/2 tsp of Vanilla.

I’m one of THOSE… so I have to use something other than milk from a bovine.  Otherwise, my bathroom and my family will beg me to move out.  TMI much?

Anyway… back to how easy this is.

Just heat your milk and vanilla up in a saucepan until is steamy and a bit bubbly.

Don’t go to a full boil or your stove will scream hot obscenities at you.

The most important step:

Froth it up in your blender.  I use one of my single serving fellas from my Ninja.

I love this thing:

And that, my bold bffs, is it!

  1. I love warm milk! My mom used to make it for us all the time. Well, until I could make it myself. We always added just a nip of butter as well. I’ll have to try foaming it.

  2. I love this idea. I have always wanted something hot to drink other than, of course, coffee and tea and cocoa. My mother always used Postum and Pero but i never developed a taste for them. I can’t wait to try this. Thanks!

  4. Could I froth it in a nutribullet? And no problems to froth it when it’s hot? Thanks!!

    1. I’m sure you could, Jenelle! I froth mine in the Ninja while it’s still hot. Just try it out and see. Or maybe read the instructions first. Just a disclaimer! haha!
