I didn’t grow up with fancy chip clips. I think I might remember us wrapping a rubber band around them… maybe. If any of my sisters are reading this, perhaps they can jog my failing chip-clip memory.
Anyway… Now, OUR family has fancy chip clips. I say “bag clips” in the title because these work for more than just chips. They could be used for crackers or dog treats or fish bait. Any baggy item will gladly take on a Washi Tape Bag Clip. Except maybe your ten-year-old, favorite pair of nubby sweatpants you got in college. You might have to trash those.
How to make your own Washi Tape Bag Clips
Here’s what you need, complete with my Amazon affiliate links for easy online ordering!
- Clothespins
- Washi Tape
- no really, that’s all. I just like having at least three bullet point in a list. OCD anyone?
First, tear off a piece of Washi Tape that’s a bit longer than your clothes pin.
Then fold the edges under and press down firmly with you digits.
Next, from the inside, press the sides down.
Then from the top side, press the sides down.
Repeat for the other side of the clothes pin and finis!
WAY prettier than an bare-nekked clothes pin, amiright?
SO PUT SOME CLOTHES ON THOSE CLOTHES PINS THIS INSTANT YOUNG LADY!
Your fish bait bags will thank you. 🙂
These are adorable! I would probably get more irritated with my husband when he looses them because they are so cut hahaha
