She’s a Bold One… Tina Lou.
Just like you.
And she showered me when I won her Giveaway!
These Bold fabrics that you see? She sent them to me… among many other things that I’m sure will pop up here as we go along…
And Vintage Inspired Aprons {like Pallet Projects} tickle my fancy…
And they are easy to make… just cut out a rectangle of fabric and finish the sides edges…
Make a couple of kick pleats…
Add a waistband made from two patterns…
Press a hem on each side and fold over with right sides together…
Then make a seam on the diagonal…
Turn and press…
Then fold over the waistband, wrong sides together… but don’t forget to turn the edge of the backside…
Match up the edges of the waistband and stitch closed…
Add a bottom ruffle…
Fall in love…
Press… with steam…
It’s getting hot up in here, no?
Sigh.
I’m addicted…
Thank you, Tina Lou… you make a beautiful apron.
And to honor your spirit of generosity, I’m going to give away this apron…
I know, right… {choke}
But I made one for myself, so it’s OK.
Pop back over on Thursday for the giveaway where you can enter to win this handmade Vintage Inspired Apron: The Tina Lou!
