I’ve been trolling Anthropolgie and Urban Outfitters lately. I was totally drooling over all of their gorgeous string lights, when I realized what an easy DIY that would be!

DIY Ornament String Lights Materials List:
- 1 – 10 foot strand of 50 count white string lights
- Small glass ornaments – preferably clear or translucent
- Hot glue and glue gun – this is the one I use and love.
How to:
Start by stretching out your string of lights.
Then, take off all the hangers on the ornaments.
Shoot some hot glue into an ornament’s neck and quickly stick the light in and press into the glue.
I opted to only use about 30 ornaments and left some of the lights naked. Or nekkid, if you prefer.
Then I stretched them out across my mantle.
They’re like little bubbles of Christmas light shining their love out on our little home. (Can you hear the little choir of angles singing sweetly in the background of that sappy sentence?)
This is our simple little Christmas mantle. Which has since made some changes. I can’t wait to show you what’s going on!
Are you ready to grab your glue gun and make your own DIY Ornament String Lights? On your mark…get set…
