When I wrote this post, I had no idea what a huge hit it would be on Pinterest. Â I’m thankful for it because it gives me lots of traffic love everyday. Â And it really does a good job of freshening a room naturally.
However, I have a dear, smarty-pants husband that came up with an idea so brilliant that it would be a shame not to share it with you!
What you need:
How to Freshen Your Whole House
First, open your air vent.
Take some duct tape and tape it onto your pouch.
Morgan is demonstrating less you think I have extraordinarily manly hands. Â Isn’t he sweet to make an appearance on the blog today?
Then tape the pouch onto the air vent in front of your filter.
HotShot was totally intrigued by this business. Â I guess he felt that if Dad gets to be on the blog, then he should too.
Making sure all the animals are out of the way, shut your air vent and wait for the air to start filtering!
Then give your pup some love. Â Isn’t he the sweetest?
Oh, yes. Until he starts eating your $100 bills and couches.
But that’s neither here nor there, because once the air starts flowing, and you smell just a slight breeze of peppermint and lavender, you’ll forget all about the dog’s escapades.
What I love about this is that it’s not an in-your-face, stinky solution to freshening your home. Â It’s very subtle. Â I could smell it most in the kitchen and dining room.
We actually have two air returns, so I think I’ll try it in the other next to see where that leads!
