I’m starting a revolution, and I’ve got the barrels of tea all ready.
Because Grocery Shopping? It needs a good over-throwing.
Now, I know we can’t just turn our perky little noses up, stomp our discontened feet a time or two and vow to never brighten the local mart of food with our sunny dispositions again.
But perhaps, we can find a way to turn our brains around from their food gathering resistant behaviors.
Like, for example? Do you circle around in the produce aisle, grabbing the first, third and twelfth veggies that dance through your mind with just a vague inkling of how, when, where and with what you’ll partner these fellahs?
And then, after bumpity-bumping along to the health food aisle, grabbing a bag almond flour with your right hand and a bag wrinkled Sweet Potato chips in your left, have a 500 watt realization that you NEED a stalk of baby broccoli for lunch tommorow?
And while you’re zooming back over there like a frazzled mad-woman, remember that you failed to grab those three half-ripe bananas for the Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins?
You do? I knew it.
I knew I wasn’t the only one that zig-zagged across the grocery store like an unorganized fool.
Well.. no more back and forth here, baby, because I’ve got a secret weapon.
A Menu planner WITH a grocery list, organized by category.
BAM.
First, we have it in Polka Dots with Fun colors. Yay! {said in my best Target-lady voice}

So, grab a barrel and help me dump this bitter, old tea in the harbor so we can be liberated from the black iron chains of Grocery Shopping madness.
And when you’ve calmly made your way through the grocery store, peacefully gathering all your organized foodstuffs, just karate chop that Menu off the end and post it where all your hungry little birds can see it. That way, when they ask, “What for dinner?” you won’t have to say,
Food. That I make.
xoxo

What brilliant ideas for printables. Love them 🙂
Gwen, this is such a good idea! Years ago, I used to sit down and do weekly menus but somehow I’ve gotten away from that. Your grocery list printable may just be the inspiration I need. Pinning!
