My favorite way to Detox without having to juice!

Oh, my gosh.  First, I want to say that I’m a big fan of juicing. I have this amazing juicer, and there is nothing like a fresh, green, lemony juice to zing up your day!

But… sometimes all that washing and trimming and cleaning up is more than I want to tackle.  So all last year I was on the search for something that would make getting all those nutrients and cleaning out my system a little easier.

I love to juice, but it's so time consuming and messy. I finally found a way to get the greens I need, at a reasonable price, and not have to spend my time juicing and cleaning it up.

After some trial and error, I finally found this amazing raw, organic green super-food powder from Garden of Life.

In the morning,  I make a double whammy:

  • 16oz of Almond milk
  • Two scoops of the Alkalizer and Detoxifier
  • 1 tsp of cocoa powder because I LOVE chocolate milk

I have a Blender bottle that has a metal sphere in it so it mixes really well.

It actually tastes really good.  If you aren’t a fan of “juicing” and want an easy way to detox, this really is for you.

HOWEVER, You might want to start with just 8oz of almond milk and one scoop because this will clean you out, and you don’t want to over-do it, if you know what I mean.

It takes a lot to make things move along for me, so I’m totally fine with the double version.  I usually wait until after I do yoga and am back safe at home before I drink my morning jug of it. 🙂

They also have this version, called Energizer,  and I’ll make a single serving of that in the afternoon around 2PM.

This is by far the most tasty, easy to make, reasonably priced product I have found to keep my detox rolling without having to make fresh juice everyday.

I always feel so much better when I have greens flowing through my system!

And I’ve been so much healthier this past year because of it.  I used to catch every bug that crawled my way, but I was only really down once last year with what I think was the flu.  And if the flu gets you, it moves in and takes up residence no matter how much organic green juice you have flowing through your body!
