Inside: Salt Dog Sparkling Water Recipe. If you love a good Salty Dog drink, you’ll enjoy this non-alcoholic version that you can drink any day, any time!

Do you ever have that moment when a song or a smell or the taste of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice transports you back in time to a memory long forgotten?

Yeah. That’s what this sparkling water does for me.

Waaaaay back to the mid 1990’s… when I waited my little butt off at Houston’s Restaurant on Poplar Ave in Memphis.  That was all kinds of fun.

And when those ruby reds came truckin’ in? Salty Dogs for everyone.

Sweet and Tart Salty Dog Sparkling Water. It's super delish and so easy to make!

Now that cocktails are a rarity for me, I love to make sparkling waters and enjoy the flavors sans alcohol.

This Salty Dog Sparkling Water concoction does not disappoint!

Start with 1/2 Ruby Red Grapefruit…the redder the better.  You can use a regular one if that’s all you can find. No Judge Judy’s over here.

Juice it with 1/2 ripe peach.  {that’s my little sweet addition and it’s freaking good, I tell ya}

I use my handy juicer, but you can do it by your own hand if need be.

Take your glass, and rim it with a lemon or part of your leftover grapefruit.

Pour some fine sea salt into a shallow dish and dip the rim of your glass in the salt.

Then pour 1/2 of that juice into a glass and top with sparkling water.

Garnish with a lemon wedge if you want it to be really pretty.
