welcomeSchool’s in session today at The Bold Abode!

And we’re doing an experiment… you remember?

The Scientific Method?

Well, in this test today, were going to be using Method Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener…

First…a Hypothesis…

Well we could test out whether it lives up to it’s claim that they use safe and sustainable materials that are manufactured responsibly…  No animal testing?  Works for me, yo.

Method Detergent and Fabric Softener

Or we could test whether or not this ultra-concentrated Method laundry detergent can do big things. Yes, it uses a plant-based formula with smartclean technology® that seeks out dirt and stains in a revolutionary new way to deliver beautifully clean clothes with just 1/4th the dose of the leading brand.

Wowzas.

And that would great… I love products that are good for the environment that use safe and sustainable materials…

Morgan loves it

We could even test out how well it cleans.

Which is cool because the technology in Method’s laundry detergent cuts out the excess water that dilutes many other detergents. In fact, Method’s detergent is 8x concentrated so it uses drastically less water, 36% less plastic and requires 33% less energy and oil to produce than most widely-available detergents.

That is music to my ears!

But, dear Bold Ones… when we do laundry here at The Bold Abode,  we have one major need…

Watch this short video to find out what we tested… and to see a very adorable, um… I mean poised and handsome 14 year old…

Oh, mercy!  Now you know our laundry’s dirty little secret!

And if it can take care of the SMELLY TEENAGER STINK… I’m all up on it!

And the small, pump bottle {which contains enough concentrated detergent for 50 loads!} is very easy to use…

Which is good, because these boys?

They do their own laundry… no joke.

Brendan with Fabric Softener

Oh, lordy… melt my heart!

Brendan loves it!

Now you may wonder… will it get those dirty clothes off the floor and into the basket?

This Bold Girl has a hypothesis about that.

And I’ll bet it’s the same as yours…. what do you think?

Go ahead and make an educated guess down there in the comments!

  1. Great post 🙂 It made me chuckle because I had my 8 year old doing his own laundry last night so I could photograph him as well. Haven’t got my post up yet. Love that your boys help out! Doesn’t the fresh air scent smell divine?

  3. Great product! Good for you for letting the boys do their own laundry! I let my hubs do mine once a long time ago – he put my favorite angora sweater in the dryer! Gasp! It came out about the size small enough to fit a Barbie! I’ll have to try these method products!
