I am so into hearts right now… you might can tell from my geometric heart printable, these mini heart pinatas, and these glitter heart magnets that I made.
So when I stumbled over these darling marshmallow hearts, I grabbed them and held onto them like a food blogger that just found some super cute pink and white marshmallow hearts….haha.
And did they make the cutest valentine garden ever!
To make these white chocolate covered marshmallow hearts, you’ll need:
{I’ve included Amazon affiliate links for easy online ordering. :)}
- Marshmallow Hearts
- 1 bag of Wilton White Candy Melts
- Wilton Sweetheart 6-Cell Valentine Sprinkles Mix
- Wooden Skewers
- Parchment Paper
- Garden Base
First, melt your chocolate according to the directions on the candy melt package. I used a short glass and melted mine in the microwave. Easy-peasy.
Stick your marshmallow hearts on the skewers and dip in the melted chocolate.
Then lay them flat on a piece of parchment paper.
I found it helpful to take an extra skewer and just skim the bottom of the heart before putting it down.  Doing this helped to keep a big pool of chocolate from forming around the heart.  I even skimmed the sides of the heart, too.  The chocolate from the front of the marshmallow will pour down over the sides and coat them well.
While they are still warm, sprinkle the sprinkly sprinkles all over them.
Once they have solidified, then you can stick them in your base.
For the base, I just used a scrap 1×4 and drilled holes in it. Â There were already a few holes in my board, so I need to go back and fill those errant holes and maybe give the base a coat of paint. For now, I’m using it as it is.
Would you like to see some eye candy now?
Ok, then. Â I have loads of pretty pictures for you!
This was my favorite…hot pink glittery fun.
I set the garden on the sideboard in the dining room and a thunderous herd of Whitfield’s came charging, horns blaring, through the doorway and devoured the entire garden in less than 24 hours.
As in, not one cute, liitle marshmallow heart left.
I’ll say this little garden gets the gold medal of Valentine Treats!
Good thing I made them while they were at their swim team stroke clinic or they probably would have eaten them faster than I could churn them out.
