After decades of cooking for my little family, I’m finally feeling as if my kitchen is properly stocked with all the utensils and gadgets I need.
Spoiler Alert: They are simple. I’ve found you don’t really need every single new and fancy gadget or appliance.
Most of them are just space taker-upers and I don’t have that much extra space.
I’ve gotten pretty minimalist in my mid-life years and I like it.
So what Gadgets does your kitchen really need?
Here are my favorites that I use on a weekly, if not daily basis!

I'm on my second Ninja Blender. Not because it's bad. But because it's just that good. My first blender died but it wasn't it's fault. It was user error. I love this blender SO MUCH, that I would and will buy it again and again. No blender crushes ice like this guy.
It will make smoothies smooth. No chumky chunks or ice. What a miracle!

Cuisinart CSB-179 Smart Stick Variable Speed Hand Blender, Stainless Steel
Oh my goodness. I just finally broke down and bought this immersion blender. I love making broccoli soup and black bean soup.
i would cook it and then put it in the Ninja Blender (above). Last week, I broke down and bought this. It makes blending soup SO much easier. I can't believe I ever lived without it now!
KitchenAid NEW 7 Quart Bowl Lift Stand Mixer with Double Flex Edge Beater KSM70SK, Mineral Water
What can I say about his mixer? I have had mine for over 15 years now and it's still going strong.
I make pizza dough, bread dough, cookies and cakes. I couldn't live without it!
GreenPan Rio Healthy Ceramic Nonstick 16 Piece Cookware Pots and Pans Set, PFAS-Free, Dishwasher Safe, Turquoise
Teflon is a thing of the past. These pots and pans are fantastic! I feel so much better about cooking with these than I ever have with any other pot or pan I've had! They are non stick and last!
Gaggia Brera Super-Automatic Espresso Machine, Small, Black, 40 fl oz
The last gadget on my list is this Gaggia Esspresso maker! I wasn't much of a coffee drinker until I visited my sister a few years ago and she had a Gaggia. It was awesome.
We saved some money and splurged on this. What a great purchase! I can make an espresso, an Americano or an Espresso Longo, aka a cup of coffee.
It's my not-so-guilty pleasure!
