The worst part of cooking is the prep work, right? Scratch that. The WORST part is actually doing the dishes. {but I have a tip for that too}.
The almost worst part is prep work. And the worst part of prep work {for me} is peeling veggies. I would always get the peeling everywhere! I’d peel them over my board and they’d fly across the counter. Then I tried peeling them over a bowl…where 98% of the peelings flew too far or too short and I was still left with a painful mess to clean up. SO. NOT. FUN.
One day, I had a veggie-peeling ephiphany.
Watch the video below to see what I came up with!

Maybe you’ve been doing that for years and I’ve just finally caught on. But if you haven’t, give it a try! I think you might come back and kiss me… maybe even on the lips.
{However, Morgan might not like that too much, so let’s keep it friendly on the cheek. mkay?}

That’s what I do! That is pretty awesome we had the same idea. My sink is wider than my trash can, and it is easier to stand over my sink, too, because I don’t have to lean over. It’s a better height than my trash can. The peelings just fall right onto the paper towel…such easy clean up. Great minds think alike 🙂 But I never thought of showing others.. GREAT video you made!
