Vintage Hand Mixer Art: That’s What I’m Calling it Anyway

So, maybe it’s a stretch to call this Vintage Hand Mixer on the wall art…
But if people can make something out of plastic bags, chewed up chewing gum and vinyl records and call THAT art, well then…
Maybe it’s not such a stretch, right?
This was my grandmothers, I think.
My dad gave it to me a while back, along with a few other vintage items from our family, and I’m just now getting my lazy but in gear inspired…
I had this random ribbon just sitting there, all but dancing the tango, waiting for me to pick it up, twirl it around and wrap it on this Vintage Mixer of mine.
My brain was saying
That is too simple. That’s not creative. You have to think BIGGER, yo.
In the end, my brain lost that battle and a bow was made.
And a Star was Born… woka, woka…
I just went for it.
It’s kinda cute against my Whiteboard Crayon Stenciled Walls, methinks.
And no matter how you look at it…
Well…
It’s definitely a mixer hanging on the wall.
But it’s cool, and I’m really happy to have squashed my inner critic.
That’s one of my goals right now. If I think of something to just go for it!
