I realized that when I was writing my post about the DIY Pendant Light, that I really haven’t shown you guys much of where I actually blog.
It’s a very simple space in my Office/Craft Room. Â Yes, I’m so lucky to have my very own room to work in. Â I’m getting closer to being done with it, too. I did the Faux Board and Batten last March, and the Geometric Walls this summer. Â I made a fun tissue paper tassel banner last week. I have a String Art project and a couple other small things done and ready to write up, but I need to make the curtains and figure out the DIY curtain rods that are rolling around in my brain, but after that, I’ll pretty much be done!
Oh, I forgot about a huge canvas that I bought to make some Pixel Art. Â It’s on my list.
I’m super happy with the way it’s all turning out. Part of me feels like there is too much furniture in here, but I seem to need it all!
Anyway, this is where I blog.  I have a simple white desk from Ikea.
And a few weeks ago, I took a hand-lettering course and as a bonus, she gave me a custom wallpaper with the quote of my choosing. Â I chose, “Yes. You Can.”
And every time I look at it, I believe it. Â It makes a huge difference in my day. Â Blogging can oftentimes be a lonely endeavor. Â Yes, I have great blogging friends, but they aren’t here to help me do projects and give me in-person advice on what I’m doing and where I’m going with this little space on the interwebs.
I love how much light streams into this room. Â I need light. Â It makes me feel lighter.
To the left of my computer, I have my mixer for that podcast that I keep meaning to start. Â I thought I’d interview bloggers on blogging. What do you think?
I also have a white pencil sharpener from Target. Â Doesn’t Target just rock? Â And roll?
I’ve kept my Washi Tape Coke Bottle there, too. Â It hasn’t been a big hit on the blog, but I just adore it.
And you can see my horde of white, personalized pencils. Â I’ve DIY’d the glitter portion, which will be here on the blog next week. Â Just a little bling goes a LONG way.
To the left, I have just a little glass and gold box filled with Washi Tape. Why? Â It’s Washi Tape.
And it just makes me smile.
And there’s my blue iPhone. Â I switched to the iPhone from a Galaxy S2 and I love it. Â I’ll never go back.
Although I think the iPhone 6 is lacking a bit in style and design. Â I think I’ll keep my little blue phone longer than I otherwise would have, just because I think it has so much more character than the 6. That’s just my personal opinion. Do you love the 6? Â Or are you an Android lover?
I often wonder what you sit and think as you read this blog. Â I wish more readers would comment. Comments seem to have gone by the wayside these days.
But I totally understand. Â I rarely even get a chance to read blogs anymore because I’m so busy writing this one. And when I’m done here, I just want to get off the computer and curl up with my Kindle and binge on trashy Netflix shows.
So, there you have it. Â Where I blog and some very, very random thoughts.
I hope you have a special place somewhere in your home just for you… even if it’s in the corner of the laundry room under a quilt-tent.
Love to you all and see you later, alligator!
