A few weeks ago, I posted my DIY Pendant light/Bulletin Board Combo, and it got me to thinking about how easy it really is to DIY your own lights.

Before I did my very first restoration, I thought it was the hardest and scariest thing on the DIY planet, but as long as you take precautions and are careful with things like turning the electricity off when you’re working with exposed wires, it’s pretty easy!

So, I figured if I could do it, then I could find other cool bloggers like myself that had done it. That way I could prove to you that not only is it possible, you can easily create your own amazing lighting at a fraction of the cost!
