I’m sitting here today just a bit mind numbed. My fmaily room is in complete disarray waiting for the makeover fairy to get her butt in gear and put her dreams into action.
But all she wants to do is binge watch Z Nation on Netflix. Bad makeover fairy!
And by Makeover Fairy, I’m sure you are understanding that I really mean me and am just trying to cover up my general lackluster activity level this month.
However, the wallpaper is my biggest goal in the midst of this lack of enthusiasm, and I swear it will get done by Friday. I did paint over the Cyberspace, but the new paint color is apparently camera shy.
Yes… the wallpaper is sitting in my dining room, but I’m going to be a bit annoying and not tell you which one I picked. I want to see what you think first.
But let me tell you a little bit about this wallpaper. I currently have it on my stair risers here. It’s been there around 3 years now, and it’s still going strong! I’m planning on replacing the bright green paper with my new design from the family room, so, to test this whole “removeable” claim, I peeled up a corner on one of the risers and it came off without any problem. I couldn’t even feel any residue from the glue. #gollyitworks
So this Smooth Wallpaper is the kind you have to wet to activate the glue. You don’t have to paste it yourself. They have another peel and stick kind, but I have yet to try it.
I also want to say that I did buy this paper. I didn’t work with Spoonflower on this project like I did with the dining room chairs. I wish I could have, obviously, but my contact left, and I have yet to get in touch with her replacement. It cost me about $200 to buy enough paper to do this one wall, which I think isn’t the worst way to spend my limited funds. Of course, I’m only doing one wall above the chair rail, so an entire room might run you a pretty penny. But I’m pretty much all about designing on the cheap, so one wall it is.
Without further ado, here are the 5 Amazing Black and White Wallpaper Designs that put me in a Wallpaper Conundrum:
Option Number 1: Tons of Tiles
Option Number 2: Modern Weave
Option Number 3: Morrocan Black on White
Option Number 4: Black White Leaves
Option Number 5: Geo Ornaments
So what do you think? Which one would you choose if you were going for Modern Mid Century Glam?
