In this post: Storing stuff under your bed is a great space saver! In this article, I’ll show you 8 Great Under Bed Storage Ideas to get your started!
A few years ago, I watched this show called “Wasted Spaces”. Have you ever seen it? I’m pretty sure it was on HGTV and it was awesome. The host would help people find wasted storage space in their home and do things like cut out the dry wall and build built in storage shelves to create more space.
I was so addicted that I even cut a hole in our entryway closet so I could store stuff up under our stairs. There was a lot of room in there! I never really had a chance to finish it out in there, and when we sold that house, I ended up just fixing the hole and calling it a day.
But there are lots of ways you can create more storage no matter where you live and for sure, the lowest hanging fruit is up under the bed!
I found that out by making these rolling under bed storage from vintage drawers for little Morgan’s room:
I found some vintage drawers at the ReStore and used them to make this cool contraption!
It provided ample room for all the lego bricks that weren’t permanently plastered painfully on my feet. lol
