  8. Is this be safe for cultured marble showers? I thinking maybe not because of vinegar. Please let e know. Love your blog.

    1. Hi Martha! I dont’ think I would use this on cultured marble. You need something that is pH neutral water -based type cleaner to keep from dulling it. Check around. I’m sure you can find one specifically meant for cultured marble!

If you have some calcification around your faucet and want to use it, just know that it could potentially dull your finish. It’s not abrasive so it shouldn’t scratch it.

    1. Hi Rhonda,

I’ve actually never tried it on tile, but I imagine that it would. If you give it a go, let me know how it works!

      Thanks,

  9. The Mrs Meyers is normally diluted for use. Did you dilute it first or use it full strength when mixed with the vinegar?

    1. Brenda,

For deep cleaning (like for scale and stuff), I don’t dilute it. But if you want to you can. It is very strong, and I have to turn on the bathroom fan when I use it!

    1. Oh, I’m sure you can find something comparable to Mrs. Meyers. Just look for a natural, concentrated cleaner in your local area! I think we used a cleaner called Held when we were in Switerland.

Here’s another trick. I have long haired dog and two cats. Equals fur!!!! Lightly wet a sponge and spray Mrs. Meyers on the sponge, wipe down the couch or chairs and the fur comes right off plus your furniture smells great. I keep spraying the sponge as I clean the furniture.
Now can’t you help me find a way to clean the toilets. Again, hard water.
    Thank you so much
    Denise
