These fun color pop hexagon shelves are one of my favorite crafts that I have ever made! I first posted these on the DecoArt blog a while ago, and when we moved, they were one of the first things we put up!
I love color and I love geometrics! This project is an awesome way to have the best of both.
How to Make Color Pop Hexagon Shelves
What you need:
- Geometric hexagon shelves
- Americana Acrylic Paint in Teal Mint, Colonial Blue and Aqua Sky (or whatever colors you love!)
- Paint Sponges
Instructions for Painting Hexagon Shelves
This is a very easy project. Just take your paint sponge and paint the inside of your hexagon shelf.
All you have to do is paint two coats on each shelf to make sure to get fully opaque coverage.
This Aqua Sky paint is so super pretty!
And the Teal Mint is a winner!
The Colonial Blue is seriously gorgeous. It’s a soft purply grey color.
I hung them just over my new sectional. The colors play beautifully with each other and against the geometric gem wallpaper.
I found these adorable succulents at my local hardware store, but they soon went to plant heaven and I snagged some faux ones at the dollar section in Target.
Do you like geometric shelves? I can’t get enough of them!
