It wasn’t too long ago that I was using cherries to freeze my yogurt.  It was so good that I searched for an even better alternative. And I had a flash of inspiration…

What if I bought a huge tub of yogurt and threw it in my Kitchen Aid Ice Cream Attachment. <= Amazon affiliate link if you want to check it out!

And then, my bold friends, Marshmallow Creme DIY Frozen Yogurt was born.

Hands down the easiest way to make DIY Frozen Yogurt! Add some Marshmallow Creme and you've got a winner. There's no need to buy it ever again!

All you have to do is literally just DUMP and FREEZE.

BOOOOOYAAAAHHHH!!!!

All you need to make this Marshmallow Creme DIY Frozen Yogurt is:

  • 1/2 tub of a small tub of Marshmallow Creme
  • 1 large Tub of Vanilla Yogurt
  • Ice Creme Freezer {but I’ll share another option below that I think will work}

I took about half of the tub of marshmallow creme and  warmed it in the microwave for about 20 seconds  {just to loosen it up a little}.

Then I added both the yogurt and the creme to my ice cream freezer for my Kitchen Aid.

Actually, I added the yogurt and let it stir first, and then plopped the creme in.

I love this thing.  It’s the only attachment I have for my Kitchen Aid, and it’s amazing.  No ice or rock salt needed.  It’s beyond amazing. It’s EPIC.

After about 20 minutes, the yogurt was ready.

The marshmallow creme cuts the yogurty flavor making it  a bowl of fluffy delight!

If you don’t have a Kitchen Aid, I think you could mix by hand and pop it in the freeze, stirring about every 30 minutes until you get the consistency of frozen yogurt.  Try it out and let me know if it works!

My youngest said it tasted like Sweet Frog… and believe me, that’s the Mt. Everest of praise!
